Engineered Building Systems Inc. is a Northern Kentucky-based engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems design for hospitality, office, mixed-use, residential, multi family, education, civic, government/military, restaurant, and retail. We practice engineering ingenuity instead of innovation, and there is a difference.

Our approach for each project is never rote. We understand the landscape, and problem-solve to deliver unique, individualized solutions for every project. No two projects are the same.
Services
We measure and optimize the aesthetics and value of designed building features, systems, equipment, and material selection.
We then recommend and design using the best-practice blend of system and material for a solution that is design effective, not just cost reduction for cost alone.
This process protects aesthetic vision and maintains developer investment.
We call this Appropriate Design.
It's all in the timing; we apply Appropriate Design at uncommon stages of the project.
We keep the design and aesthetic value in line with the architect's vision, and keep the costs in line with the developer's vision.
Owner wanted to create the first urban cheese company in Cincinnati and began their search for the perfect location in late 2014.
They knew that we needed a building with space to accommodate the production, aging and tasting of thier cheese, but it was also important for them to find a building that needed new life.
A guiding principle throughout this process has been to do this with as small of a footprint as possible, and to contribute to the betterment of their city while doing so.
They are excited to be renovating a building that had sat vacant for nearly ten years, and thrilled to be participating in the revival of the Evanston neighborhood and nearby East Walnut Hills and Walnut Hills.
We've always felt a personal bond and shared a common belief that our vision for Appropriate Design in the marketplace was viable.
From the beginning, customer service has been the utmost consideration which is why we pick up the phone.
