Being a member of the ACOE and participating in the association provides many rewarding benefits and opportunities to build business alliances. The ACOE supports the SEAS School directly through scholarship funding for qualifying engineers. SEAS uses the BOMI International Curriculum for the professional development of our engineers.

Services
It is the objective of the ACOE to maintain the association as an organization of chief engineers, or the industrial equivalent thereof, who have a special interest in the practices of plant engineering.
The organizational activity, within the scope of this specialized field of interest, shall be dedicated to the improvement of service to its members, their employing companies, the engineering profession and the community.
Association activities shall be directed to accomplish the specific objectives of education, the exchange of information, plant tours and service on governmental licensing boards and industrial code boards.
ACOE meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month-Social begins at 5PM- followed by dinner, meeting, and presentation by a vendor.

All paid members are free.
Non-members and guests are $60 and can pay in advance here or at the door.

In an effort to get all of our attendees served, we will not be able to accommodate special requests on the day of the meeting.

The ACOE educational scholarship is made available to anyone who is actively pursuing excellence in the role of maintenance engineering in the Houston area.
The award of the scholarship is at the discretion of the ACOE scholarship committee.
The committee shall review the applicants for the scholarship twice per annum, once at a special called committee meeting in July and once in December.
Companies cannot share membership between multiple employees.
Memberships may be rolled over to a different employee only if the paid member has left the said company.
