Engineering Performance
Engineering Performance Solutions serves vendors, engineering firms and utility companies nationwide. Our company is a symbiotic combination of both a laboratory and consulting firm. We use AWWA and ASTM approved standards to provide timely and accurate results. We offer routine water analysis which include taste and odor compounds such as MIB and Geosmin, TOC, disinfection byproducts (such as THMs) and other compounds of interest.

Our goal is to ultimately supply consumers with the highest quality of water possible. In addition to our water analysis service, we provide testing and consulting services related to water purification with activated carbon. We are a third party quality control lab with capabilities for carbon characterization such as Iodine Number, Hardness, Moisture, Density and all the other AWWA and ASTM activated carbon standards.

Moreover, EPS is proud to be the industry leading performance based testing provider for powdered and granular activated carbon products. We partner with water utilities and engineering firms to optimize the use and design of activated carbon systems fir improved performance and reduced operating costs.
Services
We also offer activated carbon testing, rapid small scale column tests, disinfection byproducts testing, MIB testing, geosmin testing, granular activated carbon testing & more.
If you're interested in our services, feel free to give us a call with any questions!
We're proud to serve carbon vendors, utility companies, and clients across the country in the water treatment industry.
Engineering Performance Solutions, LLC was established by a team of individuals with roots in the water treatment industry.
Our goal at EPS is to provide cost-effective laboratory and water testing consulting services to clients in the water treatment industry.
This not only optimizes daily plant operations but guarantees treatment objectives are met economically.

Engineering Performance Solutions, LLC is equipped with a state-of-the-art laboratory to facilitate all analysis for a rapid turn around time.
Engineering Performance Solutions, LLC (EPS) stands at the center of the essential relationship that exists between water utilities, consulting firms, and vendors.
In providing our national lab testing services to all three sectors, we understand and appreciate the importance of each of these entities, not only as individuals, but as a unit to ultimately supply consumers with the highest quality of water.
At Engineering Performance Solutions, we take immense pride in our professional versatility.
An activated carbon performance based test ranks the treatment chemicals, whereby the optimal chemical is scored as a 1.0, and less efficient treatment chemicals are scored in relationship to the best performer, always receiving a higher factor.
Multiplying the Performance Factor by the treatment chemical cost provides a weighted cost that incorporates both performance and economics.
Without carbon performance base testing, utilities might purchase Carbon D at $550/ton, which appears to be a value, but because of its poor performance, actually costs much more ($2860/ton) to achieve the same results as Carbon A at $1000/ton.
