JPL Engineering Inc., founded in 2002 established a reputation of technical expertise by providing consulting services to the engineering and scientific community. The business grew steadily throughout 2004. The demand for services grew and by 2005, JPL had a civil design team and full survey crew. In 2005, JPL had expanded its civil capabilities to include two full design teams, three engineering interns and a chief engineer.

In 2006, JPL again increased capabilities by adding full time planning staff and environmental science personnel with experience in Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation. As most companies across the nation, JPL suffered during 2008 - 2010, when many customers halted development of new projects, downsized, or, in some cases, closed altogether.

JPL survived and later thrived, building back to the strong company they once were. 2015 and 2016 have introduced JPL to new customers, new endeavors, and exciting ways of using the latest engineering tools and technology.
Services
JPL provides comprehensive site engineering services from planning through design, permitting, and construction.
Beginning with initial regulatory approvals to final build-out, JPL has developed significant technical knowledge from an extensive list of retail/commercial, office, residential, recreational, resort, mixed-use, industrial, educational, and municipal projects.
Their expertise in a diverse range of specialized areas, including site selection and utilization, feasibility studies, utilities assessment, site/civil engineering design and permitting, complements and supports other disciplines.
JPL offers specialty services in flood control planning and design, integrating engineering, hydrology, and flood plain management to analyze, mitigate, and provide viable solutions to flood control and drainage issues.
In the years since 2003, JPL engineering processed hundreds of Technical Drainage Studies through the local entities and several 6-separate CLOMR/LOMR's through FEMA.
Onward through present day, Technical Drainage Studies have continued to be a large portion of the team's focus.
