SBCC was contracted by the US Navy to prepare a Finding of Suitability to Transfer (FOST) document for Installation Restoration (IR) Site 14. IR Site 14 is a former dry-cleaning facility that operated between 1945 and 1997.
It is located at the former Long Beach Naval Station (LBNS) in Long Beach, California.
The purpose of the FOST is to summarize how the requirements and notifications for hazardous substances and other regulated materials at IR Site 14 have been satisfied, and to provide documentation that the property included in the FOST Parcel is environmentally suitable to transfer.

SBCC was contracted by the US Army Corps of Engineers to provide all labor, equipment, construction management, supplies, materials and transportation to replace nearly a half-mile of failing deck for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in an environmentally sensitive area near the Red Rock recreation area west of Las Vegas.
The deteriorating wooden deck was dismantled and a new Trex deck was installed.
SBCC worked with the BLM to provide archaeological and environmental services in the construction area.

SBCC provided a barcoding solution (hardware and software) and placed barcodes on all major RPIE components, updated all facility floorplans, conducted a real property record validation, updated Preventative Maintenance Task Lists, updated 14 Operations & Maintenance Manuals, and drafted Work Plans with Cost Estimates for specific real property.
The underground tunnel assessments included exposed rock, shotcrete, anchored mesh, and rock bolt evaluations.
