Their benefits in visualizing the project are realized in both the design and QC process, and can be effective in communicating project scopes and impacts to stakeholders and the public. This short video demonstrates how 3D models are used to take measurements, and review properties of civil infrastructure. This serves both stakeholders in design review and designers to assure their models are accurate and code compliance is achieved.
