WGA is a small civil engineering firm serving clients in the rural counties of Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Tuolumne and San Joaquin. WGA specializes in providing engineering services to cities, rural counties, and special districts. For over 38 years we have designed and managed the construction of road, bridge, storm drain, water, and wastewater improvements throughout the Mother Lode.

Our engineers have worked with public officials and property owners in completing numerous successful public works projects utilizing local, State, and Federal funds. WGA staff has numerous years of experience in civil engineering projects in various capacities that provide WGA with a solid understanding of the technical aspects and requirements necessary to complete both the planning and technical design of projects on time and within budget.

We help our municipal clients expand their "staff" as needed to cover their engineering needs. As a contract City Engineer or District Engineer, WGA helps provide our clients access to a full range of services and resources that the company has to offer.

We have served the Mother Lode area for over 38 years, and look forward to continuing the servicing the area.
Our projects include roads, bridges, water and wastewater facilities, and underground utilities.
We pride ourselves on making sure our clients' projects are constructed on time, within budget and of the highest caliber.
After resigning in 1979 as Calaveras County's Public Works Director and County Surveyor, Roark Weber opened a one-room civil engineering office on East St.
Charles Street (formerly Pat Casey's Land Surveyor's office) in San Andreas.
Initial clients were private but soon the City of Angels Camp, Union Public Utility District (UPUD), and the City of Sutter Creek became clients.
One of the first projects was for UPUD who had received grant funding to upgrade their water treatment and distribution system which included the construction of the Cademartori Reservoir and a new water treatment plant.
