Franson Civil Engineers
WE KNOW WATERWe provide top-tier water resources engineering services to those who develop, manage, and conserve this precious resource. Franson Civil was hired by the Utah Division of Water Resources (DWRe) to design the relocation of the outlet works for the rehabilitation of the dam and spillway at Millsite Reservoir, which is located in Ferron, Utah.

There are several aspects of this elaborate and substantial multi-year project that have required and continue to require excellent service. First, we completed the project design phase. We are now working full-time to provide Utah DWRe with on-site field engineering oversight and construction management. The Welby Jacob Canal Water Efficiency Project was a collaborative effort to improve water efficiency in Salt Lake County and Utah County.

Designed to help conserve water in these counties, this project consisted of the installation of 75 measurement structures with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) equipment along the Welby Jacob Canal system.
