In the early years, Lynn & Associates' primary focus was to assist residential contractors and homeowners throughout Matagorda, Calhoun and Brazoria counties with their Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) windstorm certifications.

Javiel Rojas, P.E. is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas with several years of experience in design and construction of commercial and residential structures along the Texas Coast.
Javiel graduated from Texas A & M University Kingsville with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and minored in Mathematics.
He has joined Lynn Engineering's office in Corpus Christi to support the firm's structural and windstorm services.

Do I need a windstorm inspection

Most new construction, roof replacements, and major repairs must be inspected before you can get coverage through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association.
But not every repair requires an inspection.
Nonstructural interior fixtures, cabinets, nonloadbearing partitions, surfaces, trims, or equipment repair or replacement.
Wall covering repair or replacement if the area is less than 10% of the surface area of the affected side of the structure.
Window glass, glass doors, and exterior side-hinged door replacement, not including the frames, if the area is less than 10% of the surface area of the affected side of the structure.
