Bree Engineering custom product lines include a broad range of both performance characteristics and unique applications. See examples of our designs. Since 1999, Bree Engineering has been satisfying customers by supplying custom RF filters in varying sizes. Bree Engineering builds all of our parts to order, and we welcome special requests. We also have special surface mount package designs for lumped element filters.

The special surface mount packages provide excellent performance, delivery, and competitive pricing. We are proud to service Commercial, Industrial and Defense markets. All Bree Engineering products are developed, built and tested at our facility in San Marcos, California. Bree Engineering supports small prototype requirements and we have sustained large production runs exceeding 10,000 filters per week.

We have a very fast response time for all quote requests, and we can help at any stage of your RF system design. Based on the desired request we will provide accurate and reliable simulations reflecting what will be seen on the test bench.

Bree Engineering Corporation was founded in 1999 and is a manufacturer of custom electronic filters, multiplexers, filter banks and other related types of components in the frequency range of 0.1 MHz to 40 GHz.
Contact Bree Engineering for specific applications, Bree Engineering designs include Chebychev, Bessel, Butterworth, Gaussian, Transitional, Elliptic-Function and Pseudo-Elliptic-Function filters.
In addition to Lumped Element designs, Bree Engineering also produces Cavity designs (Combline or Interdigital) and Ceramic Resonator designs.
The passive components available in the Bree Engineering custom product lines include a broad range of both performance characteristics and unique applications.
Filters cover the 0.1 Mhz to 40 Ghz range in Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, Bandstop and Multiplexing.
1% to multi-octave 3dB bandwiths are available.
These RF filters can be configured in a number of formats to realize very simple to highly complex filter schemes.
While Bree Engineering specializes in surface mount products these same designs can be packaged in more traditional pin outs and connectorized versions.

Cavity Filters are typically used to make bandpass filters with improved performance.
The typical interdigital/combline filter can properly increase the passband insertion loss and rejection points to specifications that are difficult for lumped element technology to achieve.
Bree Engineering utilizes our 20 years of experience to properly design and manufacture Cavity Filters.
The custom RF filter surface mount packages shown represent the base core style of our surface mount technology.
The packages are offered in both straight metallization and solder mask.
Links to the detailed outline drawings are shown to the side.
All surface mount packages can be applied using SN 63 solder.
They can also be made using higher temperature solders allowing installation using SN95 solder.
The recommended frequency limit for these packages is 3GHz.
However this can be extended to 6GHz + with special considerations for the 50 ohm input/output configuration.
