Dryden & LaRue, Inc. (D&L) has been providing total project services to Alaska's utilities in the discipline of electrical engineering since its founding in 1977. These services range from initial system planning and studies, evaluation, engineering and design, to on-site construction. The principal business goal of D&L is to provide a team of professional engineers that can respond to the needs of Alaskan utilities with competence, quality, and efficiency.

We consider our principal assets to be the good will of past and present clients, the high quality of our services, and the integrity and ability of our people. D&L has a staff of professional engineers with the experience of many successful Alaskan design projects. We serve a variety of clients including federal and state agencies, private and publicly-owned electrical utilities, construction contractors, and other energy-related industries.

To fit with Alaska, we continually match our organization to a wide range of projects. We regularly provide repair designs for individual tower problems and provide total engineering and inspections services to multi-million dollar projects.

Dryden & LaRue (D&L) was originally founded in 1977 by Robert E. Dryden, P.E. and Delbert S. LaRue, P.E. as a consulting electrical engineering firm.
Delbert LaRue became sole owner in 1990.
D&L employs a full-time staff which includes: Electrical Engineers, Civil/Structural Engineers, Designer/Inspector, AutoCAD Technician, and Clerical Support.
D&L's capable and efficient support staff performs a multitude of functions.
Staffers prepare and assemble the many specifications, plans, reports, studies, evaluations, and other documents generated by our professional staff.
Dryden & LaRue has completed utilities services throughout Alaska.
Specialties include: transmission, distribution, substations, inspection services, engineering reports and studies.
D&L has a statewide reputation for transmission line design and trouble shooting.
Our engineering staff has direct design experience with transmission voltage from 69 kV through 345 kV.
