Geotek has completed more than 7000 projects across Tennessee, Kentucky, the northern parts of Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, and several other states. Our projects have ranged from the smallest single-family residential structure, to commercial developments, to the large governmental sites such as the DOE facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Paducah, Kentucky.

Rami received his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1980, graduating summa cum laude. He obtained his Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1982, with a specialty in geotechnical engineering. Rami has been practicing geotechnical engineering (and the related fields) for more than 34 years, and is licensed in 6 mid-south states.
Services
Our laboratory testing capabilities are comprehensive.
We are equipped to perform triaxial compression tests, hydraulic conductivity tests, CBR tests, chemically-stabilized soil tests, consolidation tests, soil and rock classification and index properties, etc.
We are also AASHTO accredited.

Geotek provided IBC Special Inspection Services and Construction Materials Testing services for the Metro Government of Nashville & Davidson County to refurbish the Centennial Park Sportsplex Ice Rinks.
Geotek provided geotechnical services and foundation design recommendations for a 210-ft diameter, 19-MG equalization tank.
Subsurface conditions consisted of a thick layer of poor quality fill overlying soft alluvial soils.
Hwy 109 Bridge over Old Hickory Lake, Gallatin, Tennessee.
This DOT project consisted of the replacement of the existing steel truss bridge over the Cumberland River (Old Hickory Lake).
