The mission of Fulton Academy of Science and Technology (FAST) is to provide an education based on design thinking and problem-solving with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to K-8 children in the diverse Fulton County community.
FAST's goal is to prepare children in a way that provides them a foundation to be creative innovators and problem solvers so they are prepared for success and leadership in our rapidly changing world.
With the diverse demographics of our existing community serving as the background theme for academics, children will develop the foundations for learning and thinking that prepares them for success in post-secondary education and careers.
The Fulton Academy of Science and Technology (FAST) is a charter school attended by 560 elementary school students in Roswell, Georgia.
FAST is focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) preparatory skills so that our students may enter high school programs offered elsewhere with exceptional capabilities.
FAST serves children in grades K-8 who reside in the Fulton County School District and apply to the school via a lottery.
There are no academic requirements or entrance exams to attend FAST.

This meeting will be held telephonically and is open to the public via live streaming on the FAST Facebook page.
The intention for the FAST Advisory Committees is to provide input and guidance on future planning for the school.
The purpose of the FAST Academic Advisory Committee is to engage school stakeholders and give them a voice in the academic life of the school.
This committee will discuss curriculum, review and evaluate industry trends and technology that should be considered for inclusion into curriculum, and offer suggestions and support for additional opportunities for academic enrichment that will further augment the optimal educational development of students at FAST.
In 2020, FAST became an officially STEM certified school, with the report citing multiple programs both within the core curriculum and outside of it.
But what specifically does STEM learning look like at FAST?
The call to action for FAST is the need for our children to be able to think critically, to develop deep and meaningful understanding of the world around them and how to create innovative solutions to problems.
Over the past two decades, children have developed a model to replication concept of education.
