A generation of equipment has been created since that time, incorporating major breakthroughs in the simplification of handling radioisotopes used in the leak detection process. These advances have been the result of the application of radioisotopes in many phases of research, development, and the technological principles that IsoVac was founded on and has maintained since 1969.

IsoVac has been called out as Sole Source in numerous NASA, NAVY, ARMY, MISSILE Specifications for the implementation of leak detection programs. IsoVac has been involved in the performance of testing and engineering contracts for the Space and Aerospace industries since its inception. IsoVac manufactures, installs, calibrates and maintains the Radiflo Leak Detection equipment in manufacturing facilities throughout the world.

IsoVac materials technology is well-known throughout the world, and has contributed to innovative and original equipment designs for the application of Radiflo and Isometric high speed centrifuge systems.
Services
IsoVac maintains a Radiflo "Leak-Testing" service laboratory that has provided leak detection services to the industry for over five decades.
We are very quick, and certainly competitive.
We perform both Gross and Fine leak testing for you on small as well as large lots of hermetic devices.
IsoVac has tested almost every type of hermetic device for NASA, the Military Agencies, the Space and Aerospace Industries, and Commercial Manufacturers, to the requirements of the MIL-STDS, as well as Specific Company Specifications.
IsoVac Engineering provides Radiflo radioisotope leak testing (pdf) service at our Glendale, CA facility using the latest Radiflo equipment and covering all of the Mil Standards, as well as those company specifications which have been written specifically around the Radiflo leak detection process.
IsoVac's Test Lab has DLA suitbility for Mil-STD 750 method 1071 and 883 method 1014.
The Isovac test lab is equipped to test many types of hermetic devices including packages constructed of glass, metal, ceramic, plastic, silicon, or any combination of materials.
We provide theoretical and practical instruction enabling students to be approved as Radiflo Radiation Safety Officers, Alternate Radiation Safety Officers, Cognizant Engineers, Light Maintenance Technicians and Operators.
Our training is designed to provide the basic knowledge necessary for the safe application of the Radiflo machine.
The course satisfies the radioactive material license as it pertains to operation and light maintenance of the Radiflo machine.
Advance Training is for international companies that do their own maintenance and minor repairs.
The NRC has witnessed the decommissioning of Radiflo Systems and has confirmed our procedures to be highly satisfactory.
Isovac prepares the Sutton meteorological calculations for the venting of gas remaining in the Radiflo.
Venting customarily takes place over a 24 to 36 hour period.
These calculations provide assurance that the discharge rate, with dilution of the Krypton-85 gas, will maintain a concentration that is well below allowable levels.
The Process of decommissioning the Radiflo has been made simple by using the proper technology and procedures.
Radiflo Leak-Testing laboratory that has provided valuable services to the industry for over four decades.
We perform both Gross and Fine leak testing on small, as well as large lots of hermetic devices.
IsoVac has tested almost every type of hermetic device for NASA, the Military Agencies, the Space and Aerospace Industries, and Commercial Manufacturers to the requirements of the MIL-STDS, as well as to Specific Company Specifications.
For most standard test conditions, if a faster turnaround is needed, we can expedite the testing to 8 hours.
