Hydraulic engineering involves the flow of fluids, specifically surface water and groundwater.
Turnipseed Engineers performs modeling of both water and sewer flows; provides modeling and analysis for reservoir systems, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, storm water management and various other water resource modeling using WaterGEMS, H20Net, SWMM or similar software.
System mapping identifies underground utilities including the location of various type valves, cut-off's and other connections that are not visible after construction of a water or sewer line has been completed.
These system maps are beneficial to municipalities because they provide a point of reference when determining the availability of water or sewerage service in certain areas or locating points of isolation when emergencies occur.
