Morris Engineering, Inc. (MEI) is a California certified Small Business (SB) specializing in construction engineering. We help contractors build their projects safely, efficiently and economically with an emphasis on material reuse. Since 2000, MEI has partnered with contractors to share our comprehensive knowledge and experience, facilitate the building of projects their way and save them money by utilizing materials they already own.

With more than 450 falsework designs for various bridge types including arch bridges, parabolic bridges, cast-in-place box girder and precast girder bridges to our name, we have extensive experience using timber post, pipe post and 100 kip towers.
We have demonstrated expertise on projects over railroads and challenging traffic openings.
We provide designs for precast girder bracing, interior decking, lost deck forming systems, intermediate diaphragm forms and overhang forms.
Morris Engineering, Inc. (MEI) has designed bracing for column / wall rebar cages, steel and timber column / wall forms.
MEI has also designed timber column / wall forms with steel strongbacks.

Morris Engineering, Inc. designed a rigging system to support the existing monuments on the historic 1st Street Viaduct bridge.
The monuments were removed from the existing structure, and later replaced on the new widened structure, preserving the iconic look of the 1st Street Viaduct.
