Radius Workcells provide efficient, automated production systems for net-shape composites. Radius Engineering provides engineering services for all aspects of advanced composite structure design and fabrication. Our process and engineering services are internationally recognized and acclaimed. We develop and transfer the composite manufacturing processing technology to our customers, and provide them with continued support during the production life-cycle.

This includes on-site part fabrication and equipment use training. Our Development and Tooling engineers are skilled in designing metallic closed mold tooling. We provide hard-anodized aluminum and steel tooling for most applicationss. Demonstrated design and fabrication of closed molds large tools as large as 264in x 72in x 17in (6.7m x 1.8m x 0.23m).

Tooling is a core competency of Radius technology and has been since the company's founding. Radius Engineering designs and builds composite manufacturing workcells to the precise specifications required by our customers for successful composite manufacturing.
Services
The future is composites-we've known this for decades.
When we started in 1986, other materials reigned supreme.
But we saw the potential for strong, lightweight materials to radically transform a wide range of industries.
Today, demand for composite aircraft engine structures alone is forecast to grow by 7% annually through 2018.
We're uniquely suited to help our customers meet that demand.
Radius Engineering, Inc. is certified to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.
We believe that by standardizing our key processes and sharing common objectives across our organization, we are able to swiftly and flexibly meet our customers' needs.
Radius Engineering provides full composite design and analysis services and a complete, detailed composite manufacturing procedure.
Our Development and Tooling engineers are skilled in developing composite manufacturing processes and designing closed mold, metallic tooling that produces highly integrated composite structures with unsurpassed quality.
Part forming cavities are designed to a target composite cured ply thickness providing better control of composite mechanical properties.
Tool registration features locate and control insert and preform positioning resulting in improved dimensional control and repeatability of the composite structure.
Radius won the prestigious Sloan Award in 2005.
We continue the workplace practices that resulted in this award.
The Sloan award is part of "When Work Works, " a national project on workplace flexibility and effectiveness from the Families and Work Institute in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for a Competitive Workforce and the Twiga Foundation.
Radius employees were interviewed about our company culture and access to flexible work programs.
Award judges found that Radius demonstrates an exceptional level of understanding about the importance of workplace flexibility that allows employees to balance home, community, and work.
