Eagle Engineering & Surveying, Inc. is a third generation civil engineering and land surveying firm, serving Washakie County and the Big Horn Basin since 1932. Our longevity in business is due to our "above and beyond" attitude of service to our clients. We have designed, surveyed, supervised the construction and provided quality control testing for the majority of road projects, water and sewer systems, irrigation works, subdivisions and other civil projects in this area.

Our clients know we are here to make sure their project is successful not just on paper, but over the entire life of the project. Both grew up in this area and have extensive knowledge of the area and its people. Eagle Engineering & Surveying, Inc. has been the City Engineer for Worland and the Town Engineer for Basin for many years. We also have extensive records and knowledge of historical projects, as well as surveying and mapping in this area dating back to the early 1900's.

CTA Architects and Engineers of Billings, Montana was hired to design the school.

Mr. Donnell is a third-generation civil engineer in the Big Horn Basin.
George Donnell, his grandfather, started Bell & Donnell with Howard Bell in 1932.
Mike has played a substantial role on all major projects with Donnell & Allred, Inc. since moving back to Wyoming from Alaska in 1986.
He became President of Donnell & Allred, Inc. in 1995 and is now the Vice-President of Eagle Engineering & Surveying, Inc.
He has been the company's representative with the City of Worland since 1995.
His background at the University of Alaska provides a strong technical expertise in cold weather engineering problems typical in Wyoming such as frost heaving, and how to effectively deal with them.
Eagle Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (FKA Donnell & Allred, Inc.) has been involved in the design of Worland's new Middle School since very near the beginning.
CTA Architects and Engineers of Billings, Montana was hired to design the new school.
CTA asked Donnell & Allred to preform the initial site survey.
We took well over a thousand shots to determine property lines, existing structures and half-foot contours.
As the design progressed, CTA realized the benefit of bringing us onboard to do the site design.
In 1979, while drilling for oil, Husky Oil discovered an abundant source of drinking water in the Madison Aquifer.
The artesian well was given to the City of Worland for use as a municipal water supply.
Two years later the city drilled another well and began construction on a 22-mile transmission line to bring the water to town.
The wells produce over 5 million gallons per day at a wellhead pressure from 140 psi to 210 psi.
Eagle Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (FKA Donnell & Allred, Inc.) was involved in the conceptual development and construction engineering of the wells, transmission line and various structures included in the project.
Eagle Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (FKA Donnell & Allred, Inc.) has been providing water right consultations in northwest Wyoming since the 1930's.
Other firms or even the individual may prepare some of the documents and do some records research, but Wyoming Water Law requires that the maps be prepared by a licensed engineer or surveyor.
Every water right problem is unique and has to be dealt with according to the circumstances involved.
Many of the water users have changed their points of diversions and lands being irrigated without the proper paper work and are thus in violation of Wyoming Water Law.
Eagle Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (FKA Donnell & Allred, Inc.) has been providing accurate and competitive land surveying in the Big Horn Basin for over 80 years.
