                                                        The HEG staff is experienced in regulatory compliance to meet the Surface Mining Reclamation and Control Act (SMCRA), The Clean Water Act (CWA), United States Corps of Engineers 404 permitting process and the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
Our staff is experienced in the technical areas of coal refuse disposal in the form of impounding and non-impounding structures, surface and underground mine facilities, sedimentation pond construction and maintenance, water discharge treatment and acid mine drainage treatment.
