Rosemont Engineering, Inc., founded in 1988, is your local source for fire pump controller service and sales. As the New England Representative for Firetrol, Inc., we specialize in the repair, inspection, and replacement of fire pump controllers. Additionally, we design various types of pump control systems for special applications when "catalog style" controllers won't measure up.
Services
As the population of fire pump controllers matures, the need for excellence in service grows.
At Rosemont Engineering, Inc., we take this responsibility seriously.
We have a large inventory of commonly used spare parts on our service vehicles; staffed by Eric Silva and Doug Ferreira.
Eric specializes in transitioning old installations to new controllers; with emphasis on meeting current code compliance.
Doug specializes in performing our popular NFPA25 Service Inspections; which thoroughly test and check a controller for complete manual and automatic operation as dictated by NFPA code.
When it comes to control systems, many pump OEMs offer standard systems.
Often times, applications require something beyond what you can find in a product catalog.
Every life-safety generator needs a fuel supply.
Since many generators are on a roof, fuel needs to be pumped from storage tanks in the basement to the generator's "Day Tank."
Our fuel oil set controls interface with day tank level control systems to operate pumps which keep them full.
Our newest systems have an option to interface with building management systems using ModBus interface modules.

Jockey Pumps, or pressure maintenance pumps, are the little brother to a fire pump controller.
The jockey pump controller is a relatively inexpensive piece of equipment.
When a motor contactor, or thermal overload, or a pressure switch fails, often times it makes more sense to replace the entire controller.
Little did I know that when we became business partners in December of 1988, it would lead to 27 years of brotherhood.
We became best friends.
Through years of personal challenges, and the changing business climates, we stood together, comforted each other, and consistently reminded ourselves how lucky we were to have found each other and formed our company 27 years ago.

At night watching TV, he would be snacking on Cheez-Its.
He loved the music of the Beatles and The Monkeys.
