STATES STORAGE BINSStates storage bins come in a variety of shapes from smaller rectangular units to large round units, and range in size from several hundred pounds to several hundred tons. They can be designed for indoor or outdoor use for bond, new sand, prepared sand, or return sand. The storage bin is constructed from extra heavy duty components for greater durability.

The low, efficient design of States Engineering Shakeouts reduces loading height and allows molds to be dumped more easily from most existing mold lines. Rugged construction coupled with superior quality components and less maintenance. Regardless of your foundry's sand casting handling requirements, there is a States Shakeout available to fulfill your needs for more productivity and higher profits!

States Engineering designs, builds, and integrates sophisticated electronic controls including: data collection systems, vision systems, process control systems, robotics, motion control systems and gauging and measuring systems. You can add our controls systems to new foundry equipment, or States Engineering will design a system to increase production and improve efficiency in your existing foundry equipment.

read more › Puts more productivity into flask molding operationsThe States Gate-O-Rator provides the most uniform, flowable sand for your pattern. This is due to the Gate-O-Rator's intense shearing action of the counterflow rotation of the high speed brush against the sand stream. The best possible sand condition is assured by this intense aeration of the sand just prior to entering the flask. The brush itself is designed of hardened, annealed, spring steel sprigs secured in cast hubs to form a high density brush assembly.

read more › The States Rotary Brush Aerator provides high speed aeration of molding sand for automatic molding machine, tight flask, squeezer, floor molding and other molding operations. It is especially beneficial for aerating prepard sand that has become packed during transport in a bucket elevator. The States Rotary Brush Aerator is a completely self-contained unit that's designed and sized to easily fit on existing or new 18", 24", and 30" flat belt conveyors. Other sizes are available on request to meet ant requirement.

The ideal mounting position for the Rotary Screen would be located on top of the Sand Storage Bin. Return sand is conveyed to the receiving chute by either a bucket elevator or belt conveyor. The receiving chute directs the sand into the rotary drum. Lifting flights within the drum elevate and tumble the sand for through and efficient screening. The screen, which can be built cylindrical or hexagonal in shape, rotates at a slow 14 R.P.M. which minimizes maintenance.
