The stringent conditions required soil analysis and vibration measurement to ensure the equipment was isolated from nearly all vibration. A heavy floating slab design was utilized to provide mass and ensure vibrations would not be transferred through the solid base foundation. Another equipment foundation involved converting a manufacturer's metric drawings and designing a foundation utilizing the standard system.
