GSE Engineering & Consulting is an Alachua County and State of Florida certified Small Business Enterprise located in Gainesville, Florida. Established in 2007, GSE specializes in Geotechnical, Structural, and Environmental Engineering; as well as Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Services. Known for exceeding expectations, timely consulting and innovative engineering, GSE works with clients all over the State of Florida, and occasionally other locations.

Jay has over 30 years of experience in providing geotechnical, structural, and environmental engineering consulting services to a wide variety of clients, both public and private.
Jay earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida in 1985, and is an active member of the A.S.C.E, Urban Land Institute, and the Florida Brownfields Association.
He is also active in local civic organizations including the Rotary Club.

He also has extensive experience in the design and inspection of Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants.

Jason joined GSE in March of 2010, and as a senior engineer, he has been providing professional engineering and consulting services throughout Florida, the southeast United States, and the Caribbean for 15+ years.
His engineering expertise and experience includes geotechnical and coastal engineering, structural inspection, FDOT, and contract administration services; working on projects ranging from evaluation/remediation of damaged structures/homes to serving as Resident Engineer on large federal projects.
