In 1983 three aspiring young men, Joe Burch, Danny Hopkins, and Dong Pham, shared a passion for engineering and united with the common goal to provide superior EPC services to the Petrochemical Industry.
Joe, Danny, and Dong observed how companies and co-workers were adversely affected by industry downturns which caused high employee turnover.
The founders recognized that the key to providing excellent engineering services was to keep excellent people employed, even through recessions.
This mantra has served BHP well and since that time the company has established a reputable global presence working with clients worldwide.
