Since 1987 AMSCO Engineering has been dedicated to providing our clients with a broad spectrum of building engineering and design engineering services.
Our staff of over twenty professionals aims to provide solutions that exceed specific project requirements while working within the project's' timeline and budget.
Each member of AMSCO's design team is committed to personal involvement in every project.
Our engineers begin each project with a firm understanding of our clients' needs and specifications, then engineer a solution that meets the goals of both the owner and the building occupants.
At a cost of $27 million, the goal behind a 75,000 square foot addition and a 31,000 square foot renovation was to increase student capacity to 2,500 students.
The addition to the existing 175,000 square foot building includes 17 new classrooms, 3 science labs, a new cafeteria and kitchen, new administrative offices, a scene shop, loading dock and mechanical plant to support the additional construction.
The 31,000 square foot renovation incorporates a completely remodeled auditorium, 3 new science labs, the conversion of the cafeteria to a combination weight, wrestling and dance room and additional administrative offices.
Mechanical engineering is concerned with conceptualizing and building mechanical structures and systems.
It is a broad field that includes mechanical designs, mechanical processes, and mechanical skills.
Mechanical engineers are involved in the design, manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems such as condensers, boilers, heat engines, refrigerators, air conditioners, thermopower stations, and machine tools, among others.
In some projects, government regulations might require that you involve a mechanical engineer.
The construction of modern building involves the implementation of sophisticated designs which overlap significantly with the plumbing system of the structure.
Plumbing engineering is concerned with planning, designing, and installation of building structures associated with plumbing such as drainage and water supply.
Plumbing engineers work closely with other engineering professionals including civil engineers, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, and fire protection engineers.
In many states, plumbing engineers are supervised by mechanical engineers and civil engineers particularly in designing fluid flow systems, designing heat and energy transfer systems, and even in designing plumbing systems.
At AMSCO Engineering, we recognize that installing a fire protection system should be an integral part of every building plan.
In some cases, it is, in fact, a government requirement.
The primary purpose of a fire protection system is to prevent the loss of human life in the event of fire outbreak.
The secondary objective is to reduce the extent of destruction and loss of property in case of a fire.
Thus, a fire protection system is a necessity you cannot ignore if you are planning to build a new house or improve an old one.
