Angeles Crest Engineering LLC (ACE) develops and designs advanced mechanical, structural, thermal, and fluid systems for aerospace, defense, and civilian applications. We specialize in aerospace propulsion systems and components. Our offices are in Pasadena, CA. We use advanced analysis techniques and perform targeted testing to accelerate the design cycle and use integrated CAD tools to enable a seamless interface with the design database for manufacturing.

We are committed to continual improvement of our engineering processes that are used for designing and developing mechanical, structural, thermal, and fluid systems. ACE designed, built, and operated a twelve-foot centrifuge for high g fluid dynamic testing. ACE operated a materials laboratory for propellant compatibility testing and performed testing to develop databases for concentrated hydrogen peroxide and hydrazine materials compatibility.

Since Angeles Crest Engineering LLC (ACE) opened in 1997, we have successfully developed, designed, and qualified hardware for numerous spacecraft and launch vehicle systems.
Our customers have included Aerojet, BAE Systems, Boeing, Hamilton Sundstrand, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Northrop Grumman, Orbital Sciences and SpaceX.
ACE is owned by Dr. Nicholas Moore and Dr. Saravan Sutharshana.
Dr. Moore is a co-owner of ACE.
Prior to ACE, he was a member of the technical staff at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena CA for 24 years.
For many applications, a positive expulsion device (PED) such as a bladder or a diaphragm is required to deliver fluid from a tank under specified operational environments.
ACE develops, designs, and analyzes PED's for spacecraft and aerospace vehicles.
ACE performs experimental investigations of PED characteristics to complement development and design for specific applications.
Empirical information is used to support design and analysis so that both the desired fluid expulsion characteristics and the required cyclic service life of the PED can be achieved.
