Services
Colorado Automation Design (CAD) was established in 2005 and specializes in automation needs including concept, design, manufacturing and installation.
CAD works with pharmacy and e-commerce customers, as well as other industries ranging from food packaging to solar, wind and custom assembly automation.
It is a Level 2 FANUC Authorized System Integrator for Robotics, an Allen-Bradley authorized integrator and has a UL508A Certified electrical panel shop and an in-house machine shop to allow for better parts control.
This system is one of three recently delivered.
The system removes compression molded parts and sorts them through a customer created vision inspection system and then crates them for shipping.
A rotary actuator is used to invert the parts prior to crating nine at a time.
Various reject points along the conveyor ensure that only quality parts are crated.
The conveyors are Flexlink XM conveyors.
There is a wedge conveyor that grips the parts from the sides so that vision inspection can be accomplished above and below the parts.
Are you the customer who is too busy dealing with day to day production to get your hands dirty in the business of automation?
Are you looking for a company that can take control of the situation?
A company that can come in and review your current production, make recommendations, engineer systems, build them, install them and train the people who will work the systems?
CAD is that company.
Are you a customer who wants to be involved with the conceptualizing and design stages of a system, but need someone else to design and build it?
