DAO Consultants, Inc. is a full service civil site work design firm specializing in storm water permit, utilities design, site work grading, drainage design, and LEED AP certifications. Dao Consultants, Inc., formerly known as Dao Engineering was formed in 1989 by Duy (Zwee) Dao.
Mr. Dao assembled a group of registered engineers, graduate design professionals, designers, lead draftsmen and administrative support staff dedicated to professional excellence.
A full service engineering firm, Dao Consultants, Inc., offers consulting services in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
The firm designed civil engineering projects with special emphasis on stormwater management and utilities services connections for private and public projects.
City of Orlando, Orange County, Florida: Massey Services opened their new corporate headquarters in 2008.
Dao Consultants provided construction drawings complete with geometric layout design, master storm water drainage plan, sanitary sewer collection system, water and fire supply network, and driveway access to proposed site improvements in compliance with the rules and regulations of the City of Orlando, St. Johns River Water Management District and Florida Department of Environmental Protection complete with permit application packages submitted for approval to build proposed improvements to the site.
Prior to kickoff and during the first quarter of the 1996 Citrus Bowl Football Game on New Year's Day in Orlando, a heavy rain left water up to 4 inches deep on the stadium's natural turf playing field.
But Half Time festivities started right on time - barely 30 minutes later - on dry turf.
No spiffy marching bands or entertainers splashing about up to their ankles.
And best of all, no Ohio State or University of Tennessee football uniforms muddied by a soggy playing field during the second half.
The Florida Nurserymen and Growers Association, the statewide trade association of the Florida horticulture industry, recently decided to invest in a new office building for its headquarters staff.
A more centralized location was needed to accommodate the staff's many activities that include communications with members, education, public relations, convention planning, publications distribution and frequent committee meetings.
